Loving the Japanese PVC's!

My friend has a sister who loves collecting anime stuff.

One of her favorites is collecting PVC statues of sexy Anime Heroines! And after seeing some of them, I would have to say that they really make a good hobby!

For the ladies I completely understand why you would want to collect some of these... but of course I would not be surprised if some of the guys choose to collect them as well... for some obvious reasons... lolx!

FORD Shelby GR1 Concept - by AUTOart

I posted about badly wanting a model car a few weeks back - namely the FORD Shelby GR1 concept.

And as if Santa heard my prayer - I found a cute little box right at my fireplace on Christmas eve - lolx! And lo and behold - it was the model car of my dreams!

So to pay tribute to my new 'Baby' here are some of the pics I took of her!

Mga Pamasko - Asteeg!

Wakeke, asteeg talaga pasko, bakasyon na, madami pang kainan plus makakauha ka pa ng mga regalo sa pamilya at mga kaibigan mo!

Siyempre di natin dapat kalimutan ang dahilan ng okasyon - ang kapanganakan ni Jesus Christ! Dahil sa gitna ng ingay at saya na dala ng pasko, minsan ay nalilimutan na natin kung bakit nga ba tayo nagcecelebrate, he he he!

Pero di ako magbloblog ngayon para mangaral para sa mga taong nakalimot, ang gusto ko lang ay ibahagi ang mga asteeg na nakuha kong regalo ngayong 2008! wakokoko! At pasasalamat na din sa mga nagbigay!

Oh and by the way, simple lang akong tao so don't expect Condo units, or bonds as one of the gifts I received!lol! But why not!? Wakokoko!

2007 Shelby GT 500 1:18 Scale Model

After the Mercedes Benz SLK 55 1:18 model I got from the Toy Kingdom warehouse sale, I started to appreciate the beauty of model cars.

I want to have this one as well!!

I mean this is the closest thing to the real thing, so I guess, that explains my sudden fascination with these collectibles.

The collectibles just keep on coming!

So after the initial purchase, I was always on the lookout for nice model cars at practical prices.

The decent ones are usually priced at 3k a piece, and for me, that's not quite practical, so looking out for bargains is the only way to feed the fuel of this hobby.

And when the PTK collectibles event was staged a few weeks back, I had another chance to get a decent car model - a 2007 Shelby GT 500!

Asteeg diba!

Its sleek and nice, and it has always been my desire to own a muscle car!

Oh well, its an expensive hobby, but its something that I want for now, so might as well fuel the passion...

Next stop... is this baby!

Keroro robo combined!

After more than a year of waiting (or maybe just a few months) I finally got my hands on the last Keroro MK II Robot - Dororo!

Unfortunately, upon purchase of the last piece of the puzzle, Giroro was still unfinished. So the excitement of seeing the whole robot together had to wait!

So on the night of purchase I had to stay up late to finish up Giroro and hopefully Dororo the day after that... Oh what any collector would do just to see God keron finally whole after a long long wait!

Anyway, with the help of our friend Mr. Atma, the dream finally became a reality!

TADA!! Let our MK II's combine!

But with the long wait came a bit of dissapointment. Yes, yes, the idea was great but when the Keroro kits were finally combined, the sheer weight of each characters personality took its toll... God keron had difficulties standing.

Anyway, depsite the setback, I still like the idea very much, maybe the next edition would adddress the issues brought about by God Keron.

Jackpot! May kotse na ako!

Ha ha ha may kotse na ako kaso di ko pwede sakyan, pwede ko lang itune at idisplay. Hindi dahil sa wala akong pang bayad sa gasolina. And dahilan ay... masyado siyang maliit, wakekeke!

At kaya naging jackpot kasi nakita ko sa Toy Kingdom Warehouse Sale kung saan nabili ko siya ng 50% off! yata!!

Tada, ito ang aking bagong Mercedes Benz SLK 55, asteeg diba! Wakoko!

Asteeg sa detail to, medyo malabo nga lang ang picturte kasi galing lang sa phone ko! Pero kahit ganun kitang kita pa din ang detalye sa pinto at sa dashboard!

Sa susunod na yung hi res na pics. At sa susunod ko na lang ipapakita yung itsura niya matapos malagyan ng mga modifications!

Lets Volt IN!! (GX 31 Voltes-V Review)

Let's us have a detailed look at the Bandai Soul of Chogukin (SOC) GX-31 Voltes-V.
Now what exactly is inside this box of marvel? What should every mecha fan expect to find inside?

Well before I show you, let me just say that if you watched the anime, then everything you saw there is definitely inside this box... and more!

So without further ado, let us start exploring this exquisite remake of the die cast Voltes-V!!

First off, here is what you will see fresh out of the box (unless you dropped your box from a 30 story building - then you will see pieces of voltes falling out of the box, lolx)

A closer look at the main styro where our friends are neatly placed, ready to be combined!!

Ofcourse we have "Crewzer" to start things off.

And then up next is Bomber (one of the weakest parts, so be very careful with this one!)

And here is one of my favorites, Panzer, which I believe is the most solid part of GX 31!

And as small as its pilot Little John, we have one of the biggest part of voltes: "Frigate "

And last but surely not the least, give it up for Lander! This will be everyones favorite I'm sure! (you have to be careful with this too since the ball joints in this can be a pain)

So now we are ready to "VOLT IN" Tanantantanan tantan...

Voila: VOLTES FIVA!!!

And as I mentioned earlier, everything you saw on the anime is here at your disposal - neatly tucked in this armory! Lolx!

And now, all that's left is to strike a pose with your new toy and give yourself a pat on the back for getting yourself such a great work of Japanese craftsmanship! Weee!

So that's it folks, Voltes V! Overall I would say that this is a great buy especially for fans of the toy and the series ofcourse. So if you have money to spare, this should be on the top of your list!
